In Karate, we follow a timeless principle: *“Karate ni sente nashi”* — **There is no first attack in Karate.**

This teaching reflects the very heart of traditional martial arts. Karate is not about aggression, dominance, or proving who is stronger. It is about discipline, control, and self-awareness. The true spirit of Karate lies in learning how to stay calm, read situations, and act only when absolutely necessary.

A skilled Karateka does not fight to win arguments or show power — they train to protect, to defend, and to restore peace. Every punch, block, and stance is built on respect and purpose.

Through continuous training, we learn that strength is not just in our muscles, but in our mind and attitude.

When we say there is no first attack, it reminds us that Karate begins long before any physical movement — it starts with awareness, humility, and respect for others. The greatest victory is not over another person, but over our own impulses, fear, and anger.

At **Shotokan Fitness Karate School**, we uphold this principle in every class, helping students of all ages build confidence, control, and character — both inside and outside the dojo.

Train hard. Stay humble. Protect with purpose.
