Tekki Shodan (Shotokan)
Start from Shizentai (natural stance).
Prepare and focus.
Move Right
Step to the right into kosa-dachi (crossed stance)
From kosa-dachi, lift the leg and execute:
— Fumikomi (stamping action)Simultaneously perform:
— Hidari haishu-uchi / uke (left back-hand strike/block),
landing in kiba-dachi (horse stance)
Combination (Remain in Kiba-dachi)
Hidari sokumen-empi-uchi (left side elbow strike)
Bring both fists to koshi-kamae (hip position)
Hidari gedan-barai (left downward block)
Migi kagi-zuki (right hook punch)
Transition
Maintain kiba-dachi and keep the hook punch position:
Cross the right leg over (kosa movement)
Execute simultaneously:
— Fumikomi (stamping action)
— Migi uchi-uke (right inside block), landing in kiba-dachi
Combination
Hidari jodan-nagashi-uke (left upper flowing/parrying block)
Hidari ura-zuki (left short punch)
Defensive Action
Look to the side
Lift the leg to avoid a sweep:
— Hidari nami-ashi (lifting wave-like leg action)At the same time perform:
— Hidari sokumen-uke (left side/flank block)
Repeat Opposite Side
Repeat the same sequence on the right side.
Kiai Section
Bring both fists to koshi-kamae
Execute:
— Migi morote-zuki (right double/assisted punch) — KIAI
Second Part
From kiba-dachi, pull the right hand back under the left arm and perform slowly:
— Tate shuto-uke (vertical knife-hand block)
(or haishu-uke depending on interpretation)
Final Section
The remaining movements repeat the same sequence as the first half.
